Several years ago the Japanese D.O.T forced Dunlop to reduce the dimensions of the 410x19 and I believe the 410x18 [as they ere deemed oversize] for the Japanese and Australasian Market. I have one of these tyres fitted to the rear of my 1969 fastback and it has dropped the gearing considerably and made it [in my view] not nice to ride. Has anybody else had this problem?, the TT100's available in my country are manufactured In Japan or Indonesia, I am interested to know if TT100's are manufactured else ware for other markets?.

Yes ,my rear 410/19 is made in France , but the front 360/19 is made in Japan , both recently bought (but in France!!).

I had a set of Asian 410-19 TT100s on my 75 and they were so big that the rear wheel wouldn't clear the ground when on the centerstand.
I replaced them because of that.

Made in France unused (hope to change that soon) 410x19 TT100s as mounted on WM3 rims approx. 26.5" outside diam. real close to 4" at the widest spot.

Chang to some decent tires............they were ok 50 years ago, time to move on!
I love the TT's. I've tried all the rest of them and the bike handles the best with the Dunlops. Good mileage from them, and when the rear is gone I put the fresh one on the front and the front to the rear. That way the front tire stays pretty current.

Even if he always has a lot of success for 50 years K81TT is a tire of modern conception (structure, composition etc.), moreover, rear, it wears out twice as fast that 40 years ago.

I have found the TT100's have been pretty good to use both front and rear. I did notice the last one I bought, that was made in Malaysia rather that Japan was slightly narrower. It still appears to perform as well. The last new tyre has now done over 4000 miles on the rear and it still has legal tread on it. I have to admit that I don't ride that hard though.
I did find the Avon's were good tyres but they seemed smaller in diameter than the TT's. I dont think they lasted as long either.
Not too far for you to ride to the rally next year Alan.
