Has anyone had any experience with Dubya USA? They are wheel builders in Orange CA.

I haven't, but there is a easy quick test: Ask them if they have ever laced, and trued a Norton 19" front wheel with disk application. If they answer confidently, then they must be good. The Norton front disk wheel with 4 different spokes, an off-set that would baffle Da Vinci, Is reputed to be the most difficult to build.

You can go to Buchanan's, they performed this miracle regularly (also on the West Coast).

If I lived anywhere near San Jose, CA, I'd have Kelly Moss lace my Norton wheels. He did mine while I watched. I swear he could do them blindfolded.

I have had Buchanan's do some wheels before. There is no question about their expertise and build quality. These guys quoted 2 wheels, spokes and labor and were $200 less than Buchanan's. I am most likely going back to Buchanan's.

I heard that many times AFTER I built my very first wheel, a Norton 19 front disc unit. I never could understand what all the fuss was about.
I took that same wheel apart last year to polish the hub for the rallye and after I reassembled it I still couldn't understand what all the fuss is about.
Ride On
