Can anyone tell me what a Drouin Supercharger Turbo Ram is worth? I have searched everywhere I can think of the find more information. I have only been able to find one recent sale. It fits the 68 to 73 750 and looks unused. I can post a photo if someone can tell me how. Thinking of selling.

Ugh a sliding scale of various models and condition and rarity. For last version with belt tensioner - about ready to install expect $1000-$1500 plus most a $1000 more to upgrade to modern bearings and re-do bearing thermal compensating support system plus a dynamic impeller balancing. The Lake Injector is known widow maker with stucked open flat slide so a dual cable push/pull needed or a butter fly carb hung on instead.

Hi, I thought I Knew a lot about Drouins, But I have never heard of one called a "Turbo Ram"
Please post some Pix.
Thank You

I have the original paperwork that indicates a Drouin "Turbo Ram" manufactured by Drouin Manufacturing Company.

I'll be happy to post pictures if you can tell me how. I'd really like to know more about this unit. Any feedback is appreciated. Thanks

Yes Turbo Ram was an early advertising term of Tom Drouin and TC, who likes to avoid the frustrating association back then. Technically this is a centrifugal "snail" blower not a positive heat pumping compressor as the first models of Drouin that used an exposed dual belt+jack shaft set up. I think a later belt tension model sold for like $2000 this winter or early spring on ebay. Folks around the world send me the ads as they pop up, some on craigslist. Bruce McGreor that has identical mate to mine has been enjoying a Drouin on his stock 850 for 6-7 yr now. He did note that in mt twisties the impeller somehow makes handling annoying, that is a concern I don't yet understand its significance.
