Rather reminds me of the P!! open drag headers and Peel's shot out empty long dong megaphone sports bikers got an ear full in faces.

great, another machine that they won't b able to deliver. wonder if the balance of the original 961SE will b delivered befodre they start building the domiracer ??

I understand they were all sold out in January, they only had a few left at the NEC show in November where they had one on the stand. Two have already been delivered to customers and that was mid April so maybe more now.

Great looking bike but probably too small for anyone over 5 feet tall. I am over 6 feet tall and I would look like I was riding a circus bike on that... I hope they make an extended seat or something.

There was one at Stafford.

Nice touch Norton disabling the vid on the Norton forum!!!!!!!!

Is there really that huge delay between revving the engine and seeing the tach move? See 2:10 onwards in the video. Love the bike but that's crazy expensive -- for me anyway.

I saw one at the Friday bike Night at Jack's Hill Café(Towcester) on 6th June so they are being delivered and ridden in the UK. It sounded awesome with the open pipes but I wasn't sure about the rear number plate bracket it didn't look right. It was on a bracket from the rear axel like the Harley type but it looks wrong on a sport bike. Apparently it was to meet UK law but I assume most owners will change position to under the seat. I will try to post some pictures when I've got time.

domiracer being delivered. WOW that is the second new model to be launched and delivered before USA gets their first 961SE... anybody wana put up a bet on what month and year we get bikes here on the west coast ??

There was one at Mallory last weekend as well, the owner looked very happy. I can't help thinking it would look so much better with some type of rear mudguard though, just to balance that chopped off rear look. I was surprised though it's actually bigger in the flesh than it looks in pictures, close up the detail is stunning. (oh and there were a couple of 961s as well, both with 10 - 15k on the clocks)

They had one on display at the IOM TT at the Norton trailer

Just saw this vid and although the bike still looks great I'm a bit dismayed that the oil cap (2:57) located in the seat cutout is basically an ornament and serves no purpose. Why would they do that?

It wasnt in the original concept

I saw a plastic tank under the seat. The cap would seem to be to fill that. Yeah. Old sold out was confirmed on the factory visit. I also saw Domiracer no. 1 on display. The other news was that there would no other Domis... ever!

To the guy that owns #3

You've said it all, if your pleased with the machine you're on to a winner.

However it seems that SG has adopted the old timeshare sales tactics and spin bullshit to sell his bikes.

Also I would like to add, when I got my T309 in 96 the crap I had to listen to about it not being a "REAL" Triumph especially from old guys that smelt of Abernethy biscuits and ralgex. The bikes a norton as much as any other Norton.

J

I still think

Those bikes look very nice. I had seen photos but thought it was just some one-of-a-kind created out of another Norton, either old or new. Didn't know it was going to be a production bike.

I sat on one last week. Im 6 ft and I think I was too tall, very race riding position, proper scratchers tool, the Domiracer. Im not sure I could actually live with one on a day to day basis. My hips and wrists couldn't handle the Café Racer!

I had a Ducati Paul Smart replica until recently. It was a far better track bike tool than I had I imagined it could be. And it was a far more hideously uncomfortable and totally impractical road bike than I thought any modern producer would make!
I moaned like hell whenever I'd been out on it, back ache, neck ache, and worst of all, numb hands! I moaned so much so that the Missus said "perhaps you should just face facts... You're too old for cafe racers... You're not young any more you know"

"Yes... Thank you dear...!"
