Active VIP members and I pay for this server and this website. It takes a lot of $ out of my pocket and my time to run this site. We are on a very high speed SSD server. At this time we have room for expansion.
Paying members pay $3.25 monthly and they have the ability to host photos on this server. There are not that many VIP members. I want to take a moment to thank all of you who do support this by being VIP’s. As a VIP you get other benefits too, that I still need to list (sorry been too busy).
If I let everyone post photos here, the server will get full up very quickly and I will have to find another storage solution that will take a lot of my time and will cost me even more.
First, sorry you are “Disgusted”. Secondly you can post a photo. Host your photos somewhere else and embed them here, like everyone else does. This is not Google or Facebook you are dealing with. It’s just me paying for all this and spending hours on it too.
Please don’t post bitch posts!! I don’t like it when I put so much effort into this.
OK so here is my solution:
As you know I have recently spent hours upgrading the forum as I was forced to for security reasons. It has been a tiered process and its still happening. These things are planned next:
1) I have an Amazon S3 account that has expandable storage and that storage is not as expensive for me. I am trying to write a script so that we can host all our photos there. If I can pull that off there is a possibility that I can let un-paid registered users post photos here for free. But guess what- I am going to have to pay for un-paid member’s storage space to host their photos where ever they are. I might do that, but why should I- because I am a nice guy I suppose. We will see.
2) I am also working on a script to auto embed all the broken photo bucket images here. This is taking a long time.
I think your post could have been far more productive if you asked how to embed a photo.
