Decat Pipe

Hi all
I am thinking to remove the cat on my Commando and go for the decat pipe. I was about to order few weeks ago to the factory....
were could I find decat pipe ? Elwhere, or any of you would have one to sell ??? I meant in Europe...

Chris, speak to Ollie Thiel, his shorties are fabulous, he also does a decat link pipe that is not show on this page, he can also do the mapping etc

With a Hole Saw on a drill maybe , get the largest that will fit inside the pipe ?

I drillrd several holes then used a long bladed screwdriver and broke it up then tidied up rough edges with an extended dremmel

Open it up like a clamshell, remove internals, close and reweld?

YES Thiel is the way to go his decat and shorties ! Now if he could make the head pipes we will be all set .

I don't think so. Are you running decats now with loud mufflers ? You should be good.

Did you got a remap with the load shorty silencers?
If so, you can probably install a decat pipe without needing a remap.

Yes , This is what Norton Factory told us a long ago. With or without cats is the same . You are good to go . The main difference is the deepness of the exhaust note , without cats you can hear it a bit deeper (better) !

My Bike came from the dealer like this so I dont actually know what map is on it. It runs like a top so I guess its the right one?

It can be queried with the software and cable . Is the dealer still in business ? Maybe you can call them. You have a Euro3 Omex , It was probably done already .
