so the last major thing I need to do is make a bracket that will ground to my frame. I have to mount my m-unit control module, hid ballast, horn, and regulator so it has to be pretty big. I was thinking about mounting to the back plate in between the back plate and the solenoid bracket so it's grounded, then under the frame rail and down connecting it to the battery tray for stability.

anyone think of a better way?

Interesting if quite the clutter of dodads. Did ya forget to list a battery in there too? Don't know the mass of these gizmos, but need to consider the road jarring over the long haul. Might consider a vertical or horizontal plate for two surfaces to stuff stuff on. There is also room behind the rear gusset to stick an item too.
