Copper base gasket

Hi,

I would like to know if anyone has had some success using copper base gaskets.

I have used copper base gaskets many times. They work well as a shim but do not have much ability to form to bad fitting surface so sealant must be used. However since they don't crush like a paper gasket the bolts don't tend to loosen up as much. Jim

I like locktite anaerobic sealer on copper and Yamabond on paper base gaskets.
