I was starting to watch an episode of "Monarch of the Glen" on TV and this was the opening scene...

A 750 Edit: 810 (Dunstall?) Commando is seen in a few episodes supposedly ridden by the character Andrew Booth (Paul Freeman).

Commando on the telly...

Yep, it's appeared in 2 more episodes already. Looks like he's become a regular.

I get the sense that was a comment about the snarly nature of both the bike and owner?

the series was shown 2000-2005 in the UK, so wonder where the bike is now? I remember noticing it at the time.

Stupid bastard walked out in a lane narrowed by his parked car - deserved to be cleaned up!!

Okay, okay - I know it's only TV, but...

Boon: Neil Morrissey's character rode a Commando. (and Michael Elphick's character rode an A65)

And there was an episode of The Sweeney in which a lad had a Mk3 850, although Triumphs were more often seen in that series, ridden by the baddies as well as the goodies.

The Goodies had a trandem.
