Commando 850 Mk3 Outer Chainchase Dowel

Hi,

During the removal of the outer chaincase cover a small pin/dowel fell out, but I can't for the life of me figure out from where. The is a small hole that it fits neatly in but I can see that it serves a purpose. See photos, one shows the offending pin, the other is where I think this pin must fit, ie: the black hole under the furthest right bolt. Is this correct, if not where should it go?

I think it is part # 06-7621.

Yes, it probably is 06-7621 if there's no dowel in that hole.

I suggest you fit the dowel and then peen the edge of the hole and/or block the hole with sealant to prevent it falling out.
