HI
I want to buy a clutch nut with oil seal to stop gearbox oil migrating down the pushrod onto my dry belt-drive clutch. The RGM item is no good for me so I have concluded I need something like the really skinny BritCycle product. Can anyone tell me if this is available from anyone in the UK?

The problem with the RGM product is that it protrudes about 8mm beyond the end of the mainshaft and my pushrod's operating range is 5 to 8mm from the end of the mainshaft, so with the RGM product it doesn't show itself! The Britcycle product is about 3.5mm deep and wouldn't stop my pushrod doing its stuff.

I had to remove the washer under the nut on mine to get the rod to come out enough, the atlanticgreen one. Everything else was to measured specs.

Excellent, thank you guys. I will order from DynoDave. It actually looks cheaper that way even allowing for import duty and VAT, compared with Norvil. What's more I would do anything to avoid giving my money to them anyway!

All I need to do now is return the RGM item and get my money back. I emailed them about the problem yesterday but still no reply.

I have one of Dave's upgraded starters for my 75 Commando in addition to the clutch rod seal. They work waaaayyyy better than the 4 brush conversion. I had that on the same bike for a while.

I bought the seal from RGM too, emailed them last week and they told me "We'll get back to you next week".
So far no reply.
Why the hell would they sell that thing knowing it can't possibly work? The diaphram hits it.
They're a great company too. I don't get it.

I bought the Dave Taylor headsteady with the spring but the bolt which holds the trunnion is too short.
No reply back on that either.
I'll email them again.

I've had no reply to my email after three days, so yesterday I simply posted the nut back to them saying it is not fit for purpose and please refund in full.
