Got a couple of green spot clocks where the threads have been well & truly rodgered. Looks like rust & the wrong nuts forced on.
They work fine so just need to replace the studs. Any ideas on length & thread?
On my Commando speedometer the threaded studs are Number 2BA and they stick out of the case 15/32 of an inch. That is close enough to 1/2 inch in my book! Of course you could also use a 10/32 stud that would work just fine.
