Hi All.
Engine rebuilt also with new valves and guides.
Bike runs well.
After how many km. you check again the valves clearance after rebuild?

Check the valve clearance after you re-torqued the cylinderhead, maybe after 100-200km,
You will be surprised how much re-torque the head bolts and nuts will need, particularly if you have the composite head gasket.

first heat cycle (not a ride) retorque and valve reset, after 100 miles repeat and 500 repeat.

The riders manual says check at first service which is 500 miles (or 800 kilometres in your money)

Personally, I think this is overly optimistic, and I’d be checking after the first 100 miles.

Rebuilt my engine first time and blew the head gasket after 30 miles solid copper. Bought a composite re-torqued after 50 miles and then 100 miles both times it needed it, now at 300 and will re-torque at 500 and change oil and filter.

After 46 years of my Norton and using copper head gaskets I only re-torque at the first 500 miles and never had a problem with blow outs
I have build a few Norton motors over the years and always use copper head gaskets, the composite gaskets need to be re-torqued more. I have only used a composite gasket once and it blew out, never had that problem with copper, I just did what the bible (manual) said to do., has always worked for me.
But of course everyone has a different opinion of re-torqueing heads.

Ashley
