Ride a Norton around the Isle of Man mountain circuit. Done and sticker afixed :)

I had a chance to do that on a Vincent in 2007, closed roads, no speed limit.
Quite a thrill.
Got a knee down going around the right hander in Ramsey, passed a bike just before and went in way too hot.
There was a big crowd there watching from the pub parking lot, just some bales of hay between me and them.
Thought I was going to end up in the crowd but made it around with wheels just skimming the hay, scraping pegs and knee slider.
I'm sure it looked great but in reality I was just hanging on and hoping...

Great story Glen ! How long ago were you there ? And did you go back again ?
 
Tony that was in 2007, haven't been back.
One of the fellows put a vid together.
Im in the closing credits ((Red/White/Black Suzuki leathers) passing another bike. Got a bit of nerve back after the near wipeout at Ramsey.
There were two crashes earlier in the lap and a couple of riders airlifted to hospital.
I was with a fast group but we slowed a lot after passing one accident. The bike was in two large pieces about 100 feet apart. The riders body was flat out and motionless on the sidewalk.
He survived!

 
I was there that year, the VOC were there with 400 odd Vincents, so at a very conservative £30k a bike that was £12m worth.
