Bosses can be like that everything is around them and everyone else is out to get them, loyalty means nothing to them, they think you owe them.
There's an old saying "if you get a decent job working for a decent boss
Shoot him before he turns into a bad one"

Some of you not only have a head start, you're
miles in front of me.
So far , touch wood, I've only fractured a bone in my hand which I had to have pinned and put in plaster.
I've fell off a number of times and got knocked unconscious twice, so I guess that don't count.
Hope you all have better luck.

Hi
I feel like I am only a beginner, hope not though, Jerry ever thought about wrapping yourself in cotton wool :D:D.
Collarbone two places early nineties at Amaroo Park.
Collarbone again broke in between the previous two breaks, 2014 thereabouts, Dr said now it will be stronger as it is thicker.

Both times on the Manx

And people ask me: why did you not go motorbike racing? Dumb luck I guess!
Have broken three fingers, ice skating on the town pond, touch football hit by a miniature football, and forget how I broke the third one, put my nose through an unbreakable steering wheel after hitting a telephone pole (drink involved).
Nothing really bad, no real lasting effects and I clearly am VERY LUCKY.
Note: 1. I will always be respectful of Jerry 2. I will always stay out of arms reach of Jerry 3. I will not look him in the eye and always refer to him as Mr. Doe. Holy cow, one tough guy! :)

I read this post & thought, no! Don't want to go there lol
By the grace of God no big limbs have been broken but some of the damage I've suffered beggars belief.
Thumbs, fingers, toes ribs from cricket, basketball & football.
Bit through my bottom lip somersaulting not!
On my bike ive done.
Collar bones, shoulder, big toe, long ways through the knuckle into the foot. Cracked my pelvis, hip & knee. Lots of coat hangers!
Tested out my ileo anal pouch with that one! Blood clots both legs, groin to ankle & between my lung & heart. Blown legs from the blood clots, leg ulcers that have eaten down to my ankle.
To be honest all managable.
They all bite you along your journey, ulcerative colitis has made my life uncomfortable since I was 20.
Celiacs has robbed my body of flesh weight & strength.
My only regrets are missing a lovely loaf of bread & a pint! Well I wouldn't want to give up my bikes!
Mind you I'm well into my cider now lol.

Broke my nose as a kid, don't even remember anything about it. However, I re-broke it in spectacular fashion when loading a set of oxy/acetylene tanks on to a big alloy Magliner hand truck. When the bottles landed on the base of the dolly, it was on a "high spot" on the pavement, so the upper section with the handles came right at me and left me bleeding out all over my chest just as the school bell rang and a flood of high-schoolers came out the door and started freaking out with the blood everywhere. First time I was ever put under. It's still crooked.

Broke a carpal bone when I flew over a car that pulled out in front of me, kid standing on the corner said I looked like Superman flying over the car. Blue jeans, t-shirt, chukkah boots, full Bell star and trucker gloves. Bent the crank on my totally hot-rodded Honda CB550 Four with full Yoshi gear. SAD. It doesn't bother me at all as far as soreness.

Worst one was my left fibula just last year (my first at-fault accident in 47 years riding), barely clipped a lady's rear bumper on a big Honda trike. Foot ended up pointing to like 2:00. Still gimpy one year and 10 days later, but more or less normal. A plate and over a dozen screws in there, plus some kinda wire thingy because a tendon pulled loose off the bone. It takes me a while for my ankle to get going, and my leg tires out after 5 or 6 hours; I used to be able to work 10 hours a day every day and just be overall/generally tired. No more. Riding is not an issue, though, the ankle has regained full riding range.

Nose, back, and leg broken. Not at the same time. No titanium screws. Plenty of get offs on and off road. Hit by a car once. Unconscious once.

I'm starting to look like a gnome in a meat sack with man boobs, but it doesn't slow me down much.

Still alive at 70, unless.... Typing in this message box is what happens when you die in a motorcycle accident and end up in purgatory. ;)

Right little toe, once
Right next to little toe, once (split lengthwise with an axe, actually two bones)
Left little toe, three times (need to quit running into immovable objects!)
Right little finger, once (football)
Right next to little finger, once (smashed in garage door)
Left hip replaced (severe arthritis, right one begging to be replaced now).
Have Kevlar strings in my left foot - tendon shredded (how you know you're getting old, tendon shreds walking into a grocery store).
Have Kevlar strings in my left shoulder - AC joint destroyed in a fall.
Right Knee cap (two weeks ago in a fall)

Only motorcycle wreck was when I was 20. Went down in a hard corner at 70 mph, didn't get hurt and bike was OK (foot peg rubber and hand grip only damage). Since then, I've always thought that I couldn't afford to go down again - I used up 100% of my luck that day!

No broken bones, but I have given them lots of stress.
At age 7 I rode my bicycle thru a stop light and directly in front of a car doing about 50mph, the speed limit. There was significant damage to the car grille and the hood was crumpled. The bike , borrowed from my sister, was destroyed. I flew about 40' thru the air to land in the opposite side road ditch.
I had no broken bones but lots of bruises.
The poor lady who hit me was an Elementary School teacher heading home after school. She saw my body fly and assumed I would be dead. She told my mother that it was quite a shock to hit me and another shock when I got up from the ditch!

In construction I came of the roof twice in 28 years, fell nearly 20 feet the last time. After hitting the ground I thought there would be broken bones for sure but x-rays showed nothing broken again. I had badly sprained ankle that kept me off work for 2 weeks.
I had many dirt bike crashes as a wild kid. The bikes broke but the bones held.
Our family always consumed ridiculous amounts of Dairy. We had two milk cows and there was always lots of milk. At times I resented having to do the milking twice a day, seven days a week. I think all that calcium in the milk made some very strong bones. We were a family of six, rough and tumble but no broken bones for any of us.

Broken bones are a great excuse to skive off work and allow you to get the bike ready for the next race.

Got the bike finished and had the pot removed on the Friday in time for the next meeting on Saturday.

I remember the nurse being most unamused at the state of the plaster cast !

Have broken everything from my head down to my toes , luckily not my neck though.
Bit he same as Jerry ,
Can't remember all but,
1 1/2 years old tripped and kissed concrete steps lost all of my top row of teeth, had to have the roots surgically removed.(was never allowed to smile for photos as a kid !)
4 years old fell off a hay trailer ,hairline skull fracture .
Normal growing up breaks in school, 6 years old broken arm playing bull rush .
Broken collar bone playing rugby . broken nose etc.
Then was a teenager ,motorcross broken hands, feet, collar bones, arms
And ribs.
Got beaten up by mongrel mob prospects ( nz street gang) , walking home alone at night broke my hand defending myself and gotl a sound kicking ,( six broken ribs) and had my leather jacket stolen .
Then came road bikes, and a few offs high sides low sides general things, broken arms ,collar bones, feet, and legs ( back when drink driving was aright of passage and not a crime 8) ),
Then put my hand in the wrong place at work ( Steel rack) again broken thumb fingers and bones.
Then was " work" as a stunt man in a travelling show,
Again arms ,legs and shoulder.
Got attacked by Nazi skin heads in east Germany for speaking English ( four broken bones in my left hand )and 10 stiches in my head from being hit with a beer glass.
Got hit by a car crossing the road in Berlin, Skull fracture and lower leg was 90deg in the wrong direction is also now 20mm shorter.
My last good one was slipping on ice and falling down a stalir well with no guard rails ,sober .Fell 2mtrs with a straight leg
Broke my heel in 8 pieces and a bad ankle break .
Spent 10months in hospital ,had a bone infection,(morbus sudeck)
Spent two years on crutches.
Suffer now from extreme arthritis.have had doctors wanting to weld my ankle together,to maybe minimize pain
Have had to take opiates.
Also have ranauds syndrome in my hands
Not getting any better only getting worse. Have very limited movement in my left foot, also one of the reasons I have to ride a right hand gear change.

Various broken toes (only discovered while getting a sprained ankle X-rayed), cracked ribs (13 years in a traditional martial arts dojo), broken right radius (work accident), separated pelvis, both collarbones (motorcycle dust-ups). It feels so good when it quits hurting.

So Jerry you came to the USA for our health care!
My broken bones- 1986 shattered right shoulder blade and collar bone thanks to a TT550 Yamaha. 1992 Broken left collar bone thanks to a FJ1100 Yamaha. 2019 10 bibs, broken front and back plus multiple misaligned, shattered collar bone, now plated and multiple screws all on left side thanks to a 750 Norton street tracker. I never did anything wrong or risky it was the bikes fault! LOL I will never be without a motorcycle no matter what my kids say!

Only had 2 broken bones, both while racing.
Oblique fracture of the left arm – radius with a plate and screws
Fractured Tibia
Dislocated several fingers thought, was always fun for the doctor to pop them back in to place.

I have found that regular exercise is the best treatment for arthritis stiffness.
The rotation and movement of the joint improves lubrication of the joint, and reduces stiffness and pain.

But Jerry, seriously dude, Evil Knievel has nothing on you.

I haven't lived it seems - broken collar bone as a child and calcified thumb joint following an unplanned exit from a Duc M900.
