hi chaps
any of you guys fitted a twin or four piston brembo calliper to your bike ?
if so which bike did the brembo come off?
I'm looking to fit a 300 mm floating disk with a better calliper for a lot less cash than the cnw set up
regards Chris

I put a twin piston Brembo on mine. I just use it with the genuine Norton disc and it works quite well. I use a Brembo 12mm master cylinder with it.

I bought the caliper from a breaker who had a box full of calipers. They were used on many BMWs Ducatis Guzzis etc but also on MZ 250s.

thank you buddy
I have some spare 4 pots in the shed , I will check out eBay and see what I can find then make up a caliper mount

I have a single nissin 4 pot on mine with a 12mm master cylinder and a 320mm solid mounted disc,I have a apprillia pegaso front wheel and yam fz front forks, the brake is brilliant

Did you make the adapter?

I have used the Brembo P3034 5165 series 4 piston calipers with great results. These are the same caliper used in the CNW kit and were OEM on many of the early to mid-90's Italian bikes (Ducati, Aprilia, Moto Guzzi). These have the single pin for the pads and the spacing between the mounting holes is 40 mm. There is also the P3034 6800 series which are similar, but have two pins for the pads and the spacing between the mounting holes is 65 mm. These were OEM on the late-90's to early 2000 Italian bikes. Obviously these two series will require somewhat different adapters.

Clubman caliper adapter. Using a floating Gafler rotor for a Suzuki application with my own adapter. Apologies for the unpainted fender.

Did a similar mod to the rear to match, using a modded Ducati mounting bracket

With the Clubman adapter can you use the stock brake disc?

Clubman says it was for their 12" floating disc, so methinks stock disk will not work as diameter would be too small.

pommie john, I like that! Very neat and those calipers are still available new or s/h. I've been doing some dweebing and worked out that the pads in those have 56% more surface area than the standard pads too :)

Does this unit clear the lower fender stay?

I'm afraid I de-lugged the forks and don't use the lower fender stays, so I couldn't say. However, your suspicions may well be correct; it does look as though it will foul the lower fender stays.
Well spotted!

Any chance of a side on picture of the whole wheel and setup please? then it may be possible to see if it would clear.
