Back in November I bought a Boyer Powerbox with charging light from one of their suppliers, I got round to fitting it a couple of weeks ago but the charging light would not go out even although the volts were rising to a good level in the battery with the engine running, re-checked everything still the same, called Boyer's technical dept., the gentleman I spoke to was very helpful and suggested a couple of things, but it still wouldn't go out. I sent the unit down to them on Wednesday afternoon to get it checked out; this morning I got a parcel in the post, one brand new unit !, no, " we think this is the problem, we'll try and fix it " or "the connections are not as good as they should be", they didn't mess about, brand new unit sent to me, it looks like the may have been a fault, it happens, but I was pleasantly surprised at the speed of their response, taking off the postage time it would have been less than a day! In the present climate where some vendors treat the customer as a second class citizen it is good to see manufacturer has got it's priorities right!
Well done Boyer, well impressed!
......Only problem is I fitted the one without a charging light from my BSA onto the Commando thinking it might be weeks before I heard anything, I am now heading down to the shed......
