BMW Isetta reborn as electric bubble car!!!

Except in the UK, where the 3-wheelers were regarded as motorcycles, I think most other markets got the 4-wheeler. Heinkel made a 3-wheeler also - I had one as my drive-to-work vehicle for a couple of years. The engine was a 175cc 4-stroke single. There was also a Messerschmit 3-wheeler, which was a tandem 2-seater with a 2-stroke engine.
 
Just a thought , if the battery wears out you can always get a 250 automatic scooter engine and convert it back to petrol!
