the Packers vs da Bears tonight , start of 100th season , 17 weeks of great sports ..... closest thing to Religion on TV ... as always “Go Raiders “ !!!!!

NFL football ( not soccer) is played over here , usually a game in London and Mexico City .... great fun to watch on the tube ....

I will try and keep track of each , both pursuits near and dear for me , last nights game typical of these two long time rivals , low score with hard hitting ,just as Papa Halas and Ditka stressed .... it would be Wales Forever in the Rugby action ! Many years ago got to play a travelling lower tier “All Black” team , was a humbling afternoon ..

Good one ! .... Back to RWC Sonny Bill is named to All Black Team they very hard to beat when is up to par , should be very interesting tournament ! The tube is slang term used for TV around here (you know this ) .... would have to travel to Montreal before I found a subway , station , although Nova Scotia historically was end of the “underground railway” for many escaping the slave trade south of here a long time ago

Used to go to Jets games at Giants stadium as a kid. Can't remember the last time I saw the Jets win a game.

Figured you for a Pat's or Giants fan Craig. ;)

Well many years ago the Raiders under Al Davis were able to give many faded and some jaded players a second chance and became a team to be reckoned with .... I liked that philosophy , plus they have had some truly great players and colourful coaches .... way back I adopted them .... while I admire the Pats for what they have achieved and what Broadway Joe did for the game ... I am a true black and silver fan , funny how things end up , eh

Goodwood Revival is on from 13th to 15th September 2019. Have a look at the Barry Sheene Memorial Trophy races. You need Google Chrome browser. If you buy the MXQ Pro TV box for $50, you can have it live on your big flat screen TV.

My daughter's high school marching band will be playing at the rugby world cup in Tokyo this year. Go Brave Blossoms! Hard for me to keep a straight face when I say that, however rugby is picking up steam here in Japan.

I think a great idea ! ... results can be hard to find here , since our team is ranked so weak , I think , even though game been played here before Canadian football came along , just not seen as a mainstream sport ....
