The Beaver Valley Rally up north at Georgian Bay was fun despite the cool grey weather. Some great scenic group riding with our small bunch. The new Norton showed up by trailer ,displayed and started up. Mishaps were limited to my kickstart lever flying off into a ditch for searching and retrieval. Very bad gas (premium) fillup for Klaus and Manse ,bottom of tank luck mix of diesel residue and water blobs. Purges and refills and we were on our way. Jamie and I tightened up his loose gearbox.Jamie won the bent shifter award for starting difficulties from dissolving JB Weld fix to fiberglass tank hole fix. Larry showed up late on roughest Nort ever seen . I was kindly offered Single malt ,Molson Dry, Honey brown and Laker Ice so developed a tomahawk to the skull thing the next day ,a T3 helped. Bumped into a friend on the way home who showed me around his new farm with collection of 7 HD's and Nortons.Drank his offered Honey Lagers ,coffee then home. Peter.
