This is somewhat related to the Shorai Battery thread I started but I thought it would be interesting for those with/contemplating an Alton E-start kit.
Per this website: http://classicbikeexperience.com/alton-ekit-for-norton/ "Alton recommends Interstate battery # FAYTX20HL for use with the Alton installation. " There's more info on the site and it's worth reading re Alton Estart.
Now, I have to admit that the cynic in me wonders whether ALTON actually recommends that particular battery or if that's the opinion of the supplier/website. There is no indication that I can find of a recommendation by Alton on their website re a recommended battery and their video installation instructions show a different brand of battery. In any case, it's a conventional L/A battery so there is no issue at all re charging voltage, etc with the equally conventional charging system in the Norton/Alton setup.
