So my 3rd and final pair of Bagman bags was getting pretty rough so I figured it was time for a change. After removing the luggage rack and the rear bags I actually ended up loosing a little weight and with the weight down low the bike feels a lot lighter. I think I am going to like these.
Samsonite bags with a quick mount system.

Nice bags and at a jaunty angle for a passenger.
What could that big black thing be, an oil accumulator ?

I installed a Heidenau for this trip. Talk about a tough tire to mount. It has some seriously stiff sidewalls.

I use the race versions K64-K65 and can only agree, stiff sidewalls.

Looks like your ready to roll, let us know how the tire wears. I think you would be a good test for it. ;)

The big black thing is a 2 micron filter. It keeps the oil clear.

Thanks for the reply.
I think you might have posted having a filter on the pressure side of the pump via a modified T/S cover........... I guess that 2 micron is a bypass filter and there is another one somewhere as a primary.

Please post photos of the rack and the mounts added to the Samsonite.
Looks very nice.
Will the bags require rain covers?

The bags are pretty tight but I will be packing clothes in big ziplock bags plus they come with vinyl coated textile liners.
Note that these have not been built since the early 80's so finding a good set may be tough. I lucked out and found a NOS pair.
And of course you have to fabricate your own mounts.

Yes, it has a spin on filter on a custom mount in the original position. It is on the pressure side of the pump.
The 2 micron filter was a bypass when I first mounted it but now I feed the output from it to the center of the cam instead of back to the tank.
Before I had a separate line going to the cam.

I often wondered what people stuff in those cases.
All I need for a 2-week trip is on this bike, including camping gear:

In all,10 kg max.
10 gr of washing powder can save you a lot of weight.
Jim: I see you also have the K34 front. Excellent tire.

I am prone to packing more than I need.
But between the new tire and getting the weight low in the new bags the handling is noticeably better.
I really like the K34 except on grooved pavement -it wants to follow every groove.

What do you run for a rear tire?

Looks very functional , for me though the tail/seat bag would be in way , never be able to get on bike with it positioned as shown , got to get my right knee on seat and then swing over from there , age related ... looks like you could haul a lot of kit with your new setup !

600 fast miles today. One pass and lots of barren west Texas roads. The bike is running and handling beautiful. The new rear tire is showing some wear already. We will see what it looks like tomorrow evening.

And that little lip I put on the top of the windshield is incredible. I could ride without earplugs if I wanted but I would miss the tunes from my bluetooth earbuds.
Got to have something to keep me awake for this afternoons roads. An occasional jackrabbit doesn't do it.
