of the many things overhauled (tranny rebuild, new iso's, swingarm bushes, master cylinder, wheel bearings, fork damper mods) the best thing is the simplest... I finally welded a side stand lug to the damn frame, this makes me so happy after all these years... (that and adding a spring/ball to the kicker lever so it doesnt flop around anymore)

Thanks to comnoz for the crank breather, works a treat! New les harris headers.. they finally fit right!

Isn't that something? I threw a down-and-dirty twenty dollar fleabay special on mine over two years ago just to get it rolling, and never looked back. That was, by far, the best thing done to the old girl, but I already had a side stand... What did you do to adapt the M/C down to the caliper? Mine took a couple of convoluted go-betweens (37° to 45° adapter).
Good to see another back on the road!

Nathan

Good for you enjoy .... best add on mod ever , for me has to be D. Taylor head steady ... makes things much smoother for my tired bones , plus bar end mirror is now useful ...

Was already running braided venhill line to the caliper (directly into caliper, no bent pipe), all that was required for the MC was a $2.00 3AN to 10mm male/male adapter (picked up at local car shop)

I would love to see a detailed
Close up of
Jim's breather, how was the install ? How much of a difference does the breather make ? Any info on the breather would be helpful to those of us who are considering one of the new Comstock breathers
