Any news on the availability of Avon Roadriders? Please tell me they will be available before spring.
If I remember the tyre code system correctly 2321 would indicate week 23 of year 2012FWIW,
Ordered a Roadrider MKII 100/90-19 on Monday it was delivered on Tuesday. Believe it or not came from Amazon from a company called Speed Outfitters/Parts Unlimited. Production date code 2321. I can not see any imperfections on the tire so I doubt it’s a blem. Not planning on mounting it till spring.

Mines a MK2, not tried it yet though. Avon claim they’re better grip etc. Guys I know who have tried them say they can’t detect any difference from the original Roadrider.Amazon has them in the sizes we use but they are all MKII. Haven't tried MKII - anybody have good or bad thoughts on them. The look about the same as the earlier ones to me but of course the compound is probably different. As long as they ride well and don't get any harder to mount I'll be ordering some soon.
I hope so, as Bridgestone have bought Avon from Cooper tire. So they are now owned by another American company. My Roadrider arrived yesterday, 24hrs after ordering.
So I would assume any supply issue is not down to manufacturing issues.
Surely there must be a supplier who deals with these in the US?
That’s good news...Bridgestone are Japanese. They own Firestone too.
You mean week 23 of year 2021 right ?
Golden rule: no typing before coffee !!Yes. Week 23 of 2021.
