I guess I've been under a rock. Every seller seems to be out of stock, at least in the US. Any suggestions?
Thanks

Everywhere I know of is out of stock and AVON is not likely to have tires to ship until late Fall.

I need it for the rear. Anyone else using a Heidenau?
It is marked a front, but has deeper tread than the Avons F/R's we have available.
I had tried a Battlax, but it was short lived.

Understand that 5 (+/-) years ago, Avon stopped making dedicated 19" rears. They instead offered the F/R, which had only 2/3 the tread depth.

To my knowledge, NO maker currently offers a 19" street rear tire. And I've searched.

Think I'll try them next time on my Commando, I have them on my S3 Kwak.

Avon do the Cobra Chrome in 100/90 19" rear, but it's only 5.2 of tread.
RoadRiders do seem to be available over here (Europe) though.

From the Heidenau site -
"The K65’s rubber compound reaches a superb balance between durability, and wet asphalt adhesion. Combining this with a strong carcass, we’ve made a tire you can push in the turns and depend on, mile after mile."
A "balance" between "durability" and "wet asphalt adhesion" means HARD rubber to last long and to cut through water and the fact that I an "push through turns" AND depend on "mile after mile" says ?

It says: "armchair pundits can challenge the person who lays into corners, but it doesn't mean much"

What is the durometer of the tires you're using?

What do they ride like compared to the Avons? They look just like the old Super Venoms which were my tyre of choice till they stopped doing ‘em.

And with Avon f’ing us all around these days it’d be good to find good alternatives.

Nige, all I can tell you is, she'll drag the headers in tight corners, never offer to lose grip.
My riding buddy had K34's on a '69 BSA, I was skeptical of the "snow tire" tread. He cleared that up as we railed through the Tail of the Dragon one quiet weekday morning. (He races AHRMA).
When I saw the K65, it took me in.
Give it a try, you won't be disappointed you spooned it on.
