I understand that the master switch attaches to the bike at the air cleaner cover......I think I am going to use a single Mikuni carb......How have others who used this setup or another that didn't allow for attachment to the air cleaner cover connected the switch? Ideas, pictures, any thoughts would be very helpful.......thanks

There are several options, the worse I've seen is someone used sheet metal screws and screw the bracket into the frame tubing. Don't do this.

I tucked mine into the front of the battery tray and used a smaller battery. I've also attached it to the front of the battery tray, both ways have the key sticking out the side. Make sure it's tucked out of the way so you can't kick it with your toes.

When I put the Mikuni on my 73' commando with the K&N the filter was as big as I could get. So I had to remove the back plate the ignition switch was on to make room. I measured the bracket and made one from some flat stock then bolted it to the two screw holes the stock plate bolts to. It's just a little lower than stock ........The hardest part making the big hole for the switch.
