Can anyone post a picture or two of what/how the rear fender mounts? My fender has the two side braces and a tab bolted to the lower front of it, but it looks like the tab is broken, as I see no way of it being attached to the frame itself. Also any pictures/description of hew the side braces fix to the frame would be helpful. The parts book and every manual I have are pretty thin regarding this.
Thanks

Sorry no close up pix
front Narrow pie shaped bracket is broken off rear lower cross bar. Bracket points down... Happens occasionally.
The rear flat 2 hole strip supports get bolted to fender.toward the rear.
Forward single hole end of fender bracket end is bolted outboard of the the rear most hole at the shock mount, long bolt with long spacers then into the fender. Repeat on other side.
The shock obviously bolted in front hole of shock mount.

Thanks Dave-From what you describe the bracket has broken off the frame, it's still bolted to the fender. Leaves me with a choice of trying to weld it back on or perhaps adapting/fabricating a Commando style bracket and drilling another hole in the fender.

Don't know if pic of fender here helps or not. Don't have pic of front mounting.

Do you mean the tab that is attached to the frame cross brace above the swinging arm? This tab takes two bolts that match two holes on the front of the fender.

Thanks All, I can now see how it all fits together, even found a vendor in the UK that sells the stud/spacers as a kit and was nice enough to give dimensions. The broken bracket at the front was what had me confused the most. The triangular piece is still bolted to the fender with what I now see is a small piece of the cross tube on it. I thought this was part of a piece that looped over the tube like a Commando or BSA mount. Still thinking that a loop type mount is the easiest way out at this point.
