Hi Folks,

I have 1975 Mk III that I am going to have painted. It is currently blue, but I am going to have it painted orange. I particularly like a "burnt" or darker metallic orange. One vehicle that I think has a pretty orange color is the Plymouth Prowler. If you do a quick search you can see what I am talking about.

Another orange I really like is what I have on my '69 Triumph Bonneville. This is called Olympic Flame. This link that takes you to Don Hutchinson's website will show you my bike and it's paint color: http://hutchinsoncycle.com/bikes/customer-bikes/1969-triumph-bonneville-t120r/

Finally, if you would want to look at Matt's Colorado Norton Works site, the photo gallery, bike #106 also has a nice looking orange: http://coloradonortonworks.com/about-us/photo-gallery/?album=1&gallery=109

I would appreciate any of you folks who would be willing to look at the links and/or give me your opinions about other orange colors I should consider.

The bike is currently at CNW's shop. I bought bike #072. I need to make a decision in the next week or so and would really appreciate any feedback, opinions, criticisms, etc.

Thanks much,

Chris

Agreed. Very nice shift as the panels roll away from the eye. Of course, paint that looks like that comes at a price...

And Fireflake Golden Bronze matched to the original...

The photographs don't do the paint justice - they need to be seen in the flesh for the full effect.
