Well Matt....the UK CRMC Eligibility Officer is one Gordon Russell!

You could ask him via the CRMC website!

That rear tire looks suitable for a 250.

It is a 19" 350 triangular KR73.....IIRC nearly as wide on the WM3 rim as a 4.10 TT100... which I fitted to a '73 RD250....so......probably....

Looks like he couldnt evade it with this , unless theres Two Gordon Russells .

The Rears a Dunlop Raceing Tyre , good as it got then . Production Racers used the K81s as the KRs twisted the frames affecting directional stability .
So they stewered like a Jap Bike with them . :P Looks like that thing must be O.K. if its got one on . Very stiff caseing and LOW Sidewall ,
The length of tread on the deck , leant over , wouldnt be a lot differant to most of the flash new tyres - just it doesnt have the big wide flat bit in the middle ,

So theres LESS rolling Resistance UPRIGHT for a higher Top Speed . Technique of no heavy ' transision ' brakeing is required . Upright & leant over
they have good traction . And Good Pradictability .

When I first rode my Rickman it had a KR76/KR73 combo....

With triangulars the first few times you rode with them it was a bit disconcerting that as you turned in they flopped onto the side of the tyre, but they were fine with a strong 850 motor...it was best to get on the power anyway.....changed the rear for a KR83, a curved profile 'intermediate', a bit softer and more grippy, and more even transition....KR76 still on front....lap times improved mainly as I got more used to it rather than a radical improvement in grip, but it was a better set up.....
