hello again everyone,
I just wanted to let everyone know about my recent success. I Was having a multitude of problems getting my carbs adjusted properly, along with sticky slides, and dying at stops. I am on the west coast of the u.s. in oregon. Read on this site about Lund in washington and how they fix the bore on the bodies and resleeve the slides to match. I had many people tell me to switch to a mikuni and life would be so much easier, but i couldnt bear the thought of putting a jap carb on my british bike  I decided to send my amals off, it was only $173 including shipping with a one week turn around. I am so impressed!! They have only been on for a week but immediatley the bike still starts first kick everytime, settles right into an idle and has no backfiring or lack of power. hopefully resleeving those slides is a perminant fix to the problem but i will keep everyone updated if anything changes. thanks all!
