Amal twist grip screw\nut

74 850 Mk2 Amal twist grip throttle spring tensioner screw.
Looks like 27 tpi at .204". Dont have a Whit pitch gauge so that is
a maybe.
Need a nut for this screw, so I have to know what thread count and diameter Im searching for.

It's probably a 2BA. I'm pretty sure that is what the early amal used for their controls. A 10-32 nearly fits on a 2BA.

No 10-32 pitch gauge not even close. 28 is nearly perfect fit.

Some Amal twist grips have 2 holes on the body besides the
two clamping holes. One is the one they all have, illustrated.
The other is a thread different again from what I have here.
Some bodies are not drilled nor tapped in that fourth hole.

Surely some Amal guy can set me straight here? Just need
the jamb nut for it and Im good to go.
