amal slide clearance measurement

Rebuilt the carbs on my '69 and measured the slides and bores for the hell of it curious if anyone else has done the same, just for comparison. Bike has 9k miles slides both sides equal wiht .0035 in clearance. Curious what they are brand new and if i have appreciable slide wear. Looks good to me.

I put the anodized slides in mine. All I can say is the slop is about half what it was with the old slides, that's just feeling it. I didn't measure anything, but it does run and idle lots better. I have about 14K miles on my carbs.
