Hi guys
Who knows where I can find seals and pads for Airheart calipers for Lyster , Dunstall ...brakes ?
OD is 1,5 and O ring is on the piston and in the bore of the caliper .

Thanks for your help

I you cannot get the original spec 0 ring seals.
0 rings come in myriad of sizes and materials any good engineering factor should be able to help. Make sure you tell them what fluid the 0 rings will be working in.

I would also think that you would need an o ring with a square or trapezoidal cross section.

Thanks for the replies , but due to my bad english ,my question was not correct

The O rings ( 2 ) ARE in grooves of the piston and NOT in he caliper s bore

Yes I tried a local shop , but in France , it s difficult to get imperial sizes in the corrct compound .
Yes I asked to Airheart , but the young staff is unainable to tell me if their 150 repair kit is suitable for the old discontinued calipers I have .
The seals I found in my calipers have a round section , even if one piston s groove has a square one; but I m not very sure of the original setting , as the calipers have been dismantled before I got them .
I m hable to machine news pistons , problem is to have them coated .

The attached file is the parts detail from Airheart's web site for the 150X caliper, which looks to me to be the same as the old Dunstall/Lister/etc. calipers. If the parts for your caliper are the same as in the drawing, it would seem the odds are very good that the current parts will fit your caliper. Might be worth the risk to order it, considering the difficulties you are having sourcing parts locally.

This is a picture from eBay of an early caliper, which looks like the ones I've seen in pictures of early Dunstall brakes.

And this is a picture of the current 150X caliper. It looks to me to be the same as the older caliper.

Do these pictures match the calipers you have?

Hi , the old caliper you picked on eBAY is like the today 150 caliper . In fact yhey only have the bore diameter in common . On the early model the pad is one piece with the piston and the system don t use the "anvil" as the later 150 caliper .
I ve found 2 seal kits , wich I hope will fit the bore , I ll machine news titanium pistons and fix on them an also machined pad with a small scew .The joining surface must will stay in the bore of the caliper . Same solution on the other side for the fix pad
Sorry Im not able to post pixxs of my caliper to show what I try to explain .

Too bad, I was hoping the parts would be interchangeable. Good luck with the restoration. I had one of the early Dunstall front ends with the Airheart calipers many years ago, but never had occasion to look at the internals, and sold it without ever using it.
