air filters for new Premiers?

I am looking for some choices for some nice air filters for my new 32 Premiers.

Velocity stacks look cool, but they look open as in no actual filter?

can they be ordered with foam inserts maybe?

any other ideas, where to look online, etc?

They are no different from the old Amals. You should run and adjust them just as the old one. Yes, they will run smoother and last longer, but other then that, they are "virtually" the same, operationally speaking.

looks like I can look at and order any filtration that fits the old concentrics

I expect my Premiers at my doorstep on Monday and I am looking forward to that delivery

and thanks for the tuning information, this should be dead simple, I am very comfortable with Amals

Shure model SM-58 microphone windscreens fit over Amal stacks and when oiled are good filters, and they even come in colors.

Hi , you can use stack filters on your velocity stacks,http://www.pjmotorsports.com/velocity-stack-filters.html, or if you can't find anything that fits there bills b racing will make them to measure http://www.bbrfilters.com bills made a stack filter for velocity stacks on a pair of fcr,s for me and i would recommend them cheers pete
