Air filter

Hi All, as I haven't got an air filter on my Norvil(only bellmouths) I was thinking of buying the K&N filter, has anyone used these & are they any good?

I had the big K&N filter on my 68 Cdo- it worked very nicely. Can be a bit of a pain to get on and off, as it was a tight squeeze against the oil tank. But, functionally worked just fine. I have gone to individual conical filters more for the look and ease of removal. Performance seems about the same. Good luck! ejd

I'm not a fan of them. 1st they must be oiled and re-oiled as they do not filter if not heavily oiled. 2nd, I had one drop a piece of wire into my right cylinder wherein it got caught betweent he pistion and the wall . . . . . nice gouge.
