Raise your glass to the Norton Factory

After at least 7 years (on my part) of sitting, I started the Norton earlier tonight. After replacing several parts, rewiring, a lot of kicking and lot of cursing, I started the bike. It spit, sputtered, and smoked a bit, then smoothed out and idled pretty well. Another great bike brought back from the brink.

I raise my glass to everyone on the forum

Thank you all for your help and insight. I'll continue asking questions and seeking advice in the future.

As for me, I'm going to hoist a few and put a lot of tiger balm on my knee :)

Thanks again,

Dave S

Have one on me.

While congratulations are definitely in order for your accomplishment, the same cannot be said for your totally useless post, as IT HAS NO PICTURES.

PLEASE rectify this horrendous oversight, IMMEDIATRELY.

Gregmac,
Where did you get the wine? is it Aussie? luv Aussie wine.
Dave S,
I hate it when they fire up first kick after a long lay up, it scares the crap out of me, just don't expect it even though I'm hoping it will.
Cash

Yes it's an Aussie wine but I put my bike on a label just for a laugh. It confuses everyone even waiters.
