Filmmaker Don Lange has been following Dave Roper and myself around to many of the races (see his great video short on Roper here: https://vimeo.com/93292358) filming for a documentary, and accompanied us to Phillip Island in Australia last year. He mounted a bunch of cameras on my Seeley G50 throughout the event, but only recently did he pass me some of the footage.

Here is a vid of a practice with the camera facing backwards. I get it going after a lap or so. But what's really great is the sunshine! We could use some of that now.

I love this track more than any other in the world. I can't really explain why, but something about the ocean, the sun, and the good Aussies has a bit to do with it.

And the P4 Open Race

This P4 Open class was for bikes up to 1200cc. I was a little out-gunned by a few, but good lordy did I have fun! I qualified 6th out of 40 for the P4 500 but I had a mechanical problem and I couldn't fix it in time.

The Aussies have invited us back, so I have a race to finish!

Great stuff, Kenny! I'll be back there with you guys as soon as I can get a body and brain transplant (and maybe a skill update).

Hey Ken.

Let's work it out! Bring your Featherbed racer. This time I'm bringing my Seeley Commando as well as the G50 - there are a lot of beautiful fast twins over there.

And how was turn one - is it still there ? If you can go round there without backing off, you are a much better man than I am.
