961 Not Ticking Over

Has anyone else had a problem with bikes not ticking over,mine has been back to the factory three times,just got it back and it still stalls all the time.

Mine sometimes stalls while idling immediately after cold starts, but once it's warmed up I don't have problems with stalling.

Are you saying you could be an hour into a ride and it will still easily stall? Under what circumstances?

It has no real pattern to it.Hot or warm even from cold it will not idle,but can be ok for 20 miles come up to some lights and it cuts out.

Idle Motor . What is the idle speed set to now 1200 -1300 ?

How many miles on the bike?

Mine had a similar problem until i replaced the battery.

I told it before here i think. the battery was strong for cranking, but could not provide the voltage (or current) for the 961 ignition and/or injection any more. That same battery did fine from then on in my Thruxton for about a year, and now in my old commando.

Not saying it is this, but worth checking. Mine felt like another bike after replacing it.
