850 Yoke SET on 1972 750 Commando

I have seen the big thread on the 850/750 steering yokes.

My question still remains though:
Can i use a new set of 850 yokes (top and bottom with stem) on my 750 Commando?

I can NOT seem to find a 750 top yoke with stem anywhere.

At RGM Norton they have:
7 3/8" 850 Commando Top Yoke, 2 13/16" offset part number 064080

7 3/8" 750 Commando Bottom Yoke 2 13/16" offset part number 061916.

But they also have a:
7 3/8" 850 Commando Bottom Yoke 2 13/16" offset

Will this work? I already have the bottom yoke part number 061916..... so if the measurements are the same, can i get the 850 ones?

You cannot mix yokes halves, they must be in pairs as in the 850 the holes for the stanchions are at an angle.

Mistake by RGM. As the 850 stanchions aren't parrallel to the stem then the upper and lower 850 yokes obviously cannot both be 2 13/16" offset.




750 061916 and 850 lower yokes on the same stem (850 on top).
