Hi All

I have just orded a new kick starter for my 850 one from RGM the T160 design that fits Norton splines, forged, folding, what I like to know is if anyone is running with this kickstarter, the problem I have is my 850 is in a Wideline Featherbed frame and where my foot pegs are mounted with the old Commando foot pegs the orginal kickstart arm sits where my leg sits on the foot peg so I have to have my foot resting near the edge of the foot peg, so have decided to mount this new kickstrter so that it folds away and I will be able to have my foot sitting better on my foot peg, just like to get some feed back with this kickstart.

Many thanks in advance

Ashley

I've got one on my Mk IIA - it folds well out of the way, but for some reason mine lacks the spring-clip style retainer, so occasionally creeps into the way of my leg.

Hi Andy

Thanks for that, also see that they are longer than the standard kick start lever so I think it would make it easyer to kick start the motor, other than your spring problem are you happy with the way it kicks over the bike and when kicking does it miss the exhaust pipes.

Ashley,

It works well and clears the pipes by a country mile compared to the standard kicker - luckily the bike's ouside reaady for a spin, so here's another photo ;)

Hi Andy

Thanks for the pics, it will work good on my bike, enjoy your spin on your bike and ride safe. I also see your bike has changed colours :D

Has any one tride fitting one of these with a set of standared Dunstall rearsets? Looks like it might work but would be close. I'd realy like to know.
