I need the above for my Series 2 Royal Enfield Interceptor as it isjust dangerous as is. The RGM one is more expensive than the Norvil one and I don't have time for that beardy old know-it-all in the Midlands. Which is best please? If the latter I wil have to get a mate to order as I was banned for questioning the 40pence washer they incorrectly sent me :D

I was going to suggest a Grimeca 4LS front drum, but it looks like it is not available at this time :(

This is mine with stainless levers, sintered bronze bushings, Stiffening kit fitted $400 + shipping for forum members.
The RGM is very close to $550, just got his new catalogue
Norvil one in my opinion is not a good shape, its not like the Norton one
then there is this one for Norton, maybe a bit overkill for the RE

You can get a standard sls front/rear brake converted to a 2LS, ( that still looks like a SLS on the outside) but I have not come across anybody who has tried this.

Not to hijack, but would you consider posting your bike's progress and pix over
on 'other classic bikes' I and perhaps others are RE fans.
Thx.

Just to complicate things Andover Norton list one as well. 350 pounds (plus VAT)

Have sent you a PM madass140, please respond. Has anyone bought one off madass?

Cheers

Our own entirely, to works drawings. Available from Mick Hemmings, other trustworthy Andover Norton dealers (Old Britts, say), or Andover Norton themselves.

I guess ZFD you are Andover Norton. If so can you send me a link to the part on the website as i spent time last night trying to find it unsuccesfully. Cheers.

FastFred,

Seeley920has answered your parts question already.

I am not "Andover Norton". That is a team of people dedicated to quality Genuine Norton parts which includes myself.

I am but the owner of the company with my own, private collection of Nortons including some Commandos. One of them is my daily transport (weather allowing), and all are my hobby and ridden as much as possible, often on racetracks. I guess followers of our homepage have seen far too much of my beloved "Signal Orange Shortstroke Roadster" by now!

I have restored that machine- and a few others over the years- myself, so know from personal experience how our stuff fits and lasts, and where our parts portfolio is not as complete as I think it should be. So, more often than not, the introduction of new parts has something to do with the latest project I have on my private workbench. Shortly to be available- Manx clutches. Guess why....

No reply madass, guess you are busy shipping other orders...I'll stick to a UK supplier thanks.

Strange.
