I am currently trying to get a good quality set of SS pipes (high-rise) for my 1971 Norton SS. In actual fact I only need the left hand side one. Does anyone know if the high rise left exhaust from the 750 S is the same shape as the 750 SS? If it is the same, does anyone have one they want to sell?

I have two s/s' and they are the same as the 1970 s the only thing is the thickness of the material used to make the pipes.The s/s is made of heaver pipe you can buy one at norton andover.

I don't have either a 69-70 'S' or a 71 'SS', but a buddy has a couple of both. He swears that the left 'S' pipe is a quite different bend than the left 'SS' pipe and a different length also. Looking at the pictures in brochures, I would tend to agree with him. Caveat Emptor.
