Jerry, doesn't the kickstart get in the way of your toe when hooking the pedal up?

I will let you know about the kickstart, its ok with my slippers on LOL. I have a few other things to do before I get the 750 back on the road. I am thinking of taking the RGM belt drive off in primary and going back to standard in there and other minor things. Super busy with work stuff and getting the new forum ready, so bikes had to go on the back burner a bit. Its a good time of year here to ride, so I will be out on the road soon.

Cheers

Very nice looking! As pictured, the r/h foot peg looks to be set so that it would fold in a horizontal plane, is that correct?

Yeah that should be rotated 90 deg.

I took the photos before i was finished. I shimmed where the peg scews on so its in the right position. I might have to move the shifter down a bit and kick forward. Wont know until i go for a ride...

You should try and keep the forward shifter arm as vertical as possible. When you remove the circlip on the foot lever to remove the three allen heads, be careful not to let the circlip snap off of the pliers, or you risk shearing the top ring off of the plastic (or whatever it is) bush. Dont ask me how I know...

Those are beautiful Jerry. Definitely going to have a set of them in my future.

Thanks for the props, Jerry. They look quite nice on your bike (if I may say so!).

The rear brake cable run looks it takes a rather sharp (90 degree) turn.
Any problems with brake pedal effort or worry about rapid wear of the cable?

Just don't use the rear brake!

They look great Jerry!!!
Look forward to seeing them up close and personal.

The brake cable is good and the brake works well. I had to re-arrange the brake stop a bit so it was in the right place for maximum travel.

I am considering removing the RGM belt drive because:

1) It squeaks when I pull away and I dont like that.
2) I like the momentum of the standard clutch, even though its more weight on the mainshaft.

I will ride it again and see about the belt.

Cheers
