In the process of rewiring my MKIII I have come across an error in the wire diagram or the wiring itself. The diagram indicates the 3 wires leading to the Hi-Lo Switch (LH) are Blue/Red, Blue, and Blue/White. Taking the switch apart for cleaning, rewiring, and lubing, I found the actual wire to be Blue/Red, Blue/White, and Blue/Yellow. I plan on going with the wire as indicated in the diagram. Has anyone else noted any anomalies like this. If all the other MKIIIs are Blue/Red, Blue/White, and Blue/Yellow, then I will update my diagram and republish. Oh I am going negative ground, but staying close to original colors. Exception will be Red to Black and Black to Red. The White feed wires to the Master Switch will be Red also.

Yes, it's (or can be) a blue/yellow (connects to harness blue).

Well I guess once the switch cluster is closed and the wire bundle cased, all that's left is plug in the other end and it all works just the same. Except for one thing, I'm anal and the wire bundle and the diagram will have to match.

thanks
Chuck
