A sad end to the 13 times world champion 70 year old Angel Nieto who died from his injuries RIP.

Quad bikes have killed a lot of people on farms in Australia. But would you call them 'defective products' ? In any situation, a person's duty of care involves minimising the risk to a tolerable level. I don't know what anyone could do to make a quad bike 'safe'.

anti-roll cage, seat belts and crash helmet , plus other protective gear worn by the rider- that is if the rider could be bothered to use all 3 at the same time, but the quad bike will always come off worse in a crash with any tin box as Angel Nieto found out.

Hit by a car on a public road ? One of our best Australian riders died in an ultra light plane crash. I would not have thought he would take too many risks after doing road racing.
