Today was the 20th annual gathering of the norton's at washington's crossing in PA, wanted to share some highlights!

Beautiful day for it, weather couldn't have been better, i'm not good at guestimating numbers in crowds, but there had to be around 1,000 bikes total and all kinda interesting stuff.

yeah, the Norvin, Triton, and the blue triumph behind it in the photo are all from classic cycles in NJ who rebuilt my motor and relaced my wheels.
 
Kevbo I was there today and it seemed like the largest gathering to date. Beautiful day and rumored to be over 1,000 bikes. You hit the high spots with your photos including one of my son's blue Triumph bobber. I have never seen so many classic bikes in one spot.

Met Nortribuell on the way out from the Gathering and wished we had a chance to speak more. Was a great event and a great ride afterwards.
 
I enjoyed the show a lot this year and had the chance to run into Speirmoor (sp) of the forum members. I love how the Norton show brings out all the Harley crowd to look at all the 35 plus year old Nortons! It was a perfect day for it!
It was suggested that forum members try to wear the Access Norton Tee shirt so that we might recognize each other next year.

Sorry i couldn't hang out after, damn family keeps getting in the way :evil: gonna move me, the motorcycle, and the guitars into a nice double wide!

It was a GREAT event, and worth the 1000 + miles round trip from Ohio to attend :D Drove the truck there on Saturday with the Norton in back, stayed in a local motel; then rode 5 miles to Washington Crossing at 9:30 AM Sunday. We stayed until around 1:30 PM, then drove staight back to Ohio. :shock:

Mine was about the 10th Norton to show up. But then ... WOW ... did it get busy ! Lots and lots of Nortons as you can tell by the pics posted above. Alot of super kewl 8) other bikes showed up to look at as well. The variety of different bikes was fantastic ! The park had plenty of parking, and the DVNR did a great job of setup and running it. If ya have a chance to ever go to this event ... go !!! It was way more than I anticipated. I read on their site that 75 Nortons and 900 plus others were there, check it out. http://www.dvnr.org/

Also got to briefly meet forum member "batrider" at the event as well. Only guessed it was him cause' he has his bike as his avatar picture :D
 
Thanks for the pictures. I missed it this year. The event gets bigger and bigger. I attended every year until I moved to Florida. I try to make the trip back North for this event when I can. normally have breakfast at the Brass Ring (Orlando's now?) where you will see nice old bikes every Sunday morning. People don't realize how beautiful it is in that area with nice back road riding.
