Huh, when I was there 20 ish years ago, every road was a race way for the locals and cities lights were like MX race starts, I loved it. Coming from Miami, then Houston I was adapted enough, more often than not to wedge my car into front line of the sprinters and pull ahead of the pack in rental Renault 25

Damn, I really enjoyed that. reminds me of the rides in the mountains of NY, MA, NH and VT
 
Its everywhere like that, that is not a fully monitored police state.
