Happy days, 1st of March, sunny here in UK, temp just hit double figures. Cue garage open, covers off, 961 fired up and away we go.

Did a quick 80 mile blast around East Anglia to blow the cobwebs away, fantastic. I forgot how addictive that drone from behind can be.

Still love it, any excuse to get it out from now on.... :D :D :D :D :D

That sounds wonderful.
Now I’m snow bound, cold, and jealous. :)
It’s snowing here again.
Cheers

We have 3 feet of snow on the ground and 4-6 foot drifts and plow banks.Tthe roads are white with salt and its snowing out. Gonna be at least a month more here. May have to go to Daytona bike week where they have no such problems! :D

Bike week in Daytona next week. Forecast of 80 degree F on Tuesday here in Jacksonville.

Twit and BP, pack the trailer and head south

Week and half from now is Nortona (Daytona Bike Week Norton Rally )

Mother nature can be a real bitch!
It's snowing here again too. Also in forecast for Thursday.
Lovely.

More snow here in Milwaukee. Another 3 inches this morning. Temps are on the rise thou, so the end is near.

Too bad I won't be able to get the bikes out of storage and into the new house until early June.

85 degrees F today in Jacksonville. But a freeze last week did kill the hibiscus LOL

Im not sure I believe it, but here in the UK they are forecasting several days of sunshine.... Ace Café here I come.... :D :D :D

Visiting the Ace Cafe' (and the UK) is on my bucket list.

As long as we're sharing our weather forecasts, I will say that Portland, Oregon is having our warmest winter on record and the last month has been sunshine and about 50-60 degrees. This coming weekend is supposed to be sunny and 66 degrees Friday, Saturday, and Sunday! Not tropical weather by any means but PERFECT leather jacket-wearing riding weather, and better than I could ask for when it's still winter!

I put 400 miles on the Norton in February! I'm not getting as much work done around the house but.... Norton!

Eighty five here in Fort Lauderdale. Too bad the bike is in NY. Saw an awesome restored BSA on the road yesterday. Probably the prettiest Beesa I've ever seen. Cooool sounding too.

Wow.
85 - Summer in March.
Was snowing so hard here yesterday, I thought I saw a Penguin.

Im a hundred miles north of NYC and we have skated this winter snowwise. Probably 15 inches
now on the ground which is nothing. The cold has not missed us though and many the morning
is zero or less. And that is real degrees not those fake Celery ones! :)
The thing that puzzles me is those who launch the first day it is warm out. Arent you in fear
of the salt attacking your alloy? I dont go out until several good rains in the spring wash that
damn stuff off the pavement.

Who'd have thunk it, the BBC weather forecasters actually being right?

16 degrees, sunny all day, 961 out again, 125 miles, 3 bike shops, bacon rolls and tea, all of the winter cobwebs blown out, saw 3 figures on the speedo for the first time this year...

Im a happy bunny. Im not alone either, the roads were full of bikes today and Krazy Horse, Black Bear Harley Davidson and Cambridge Motorcycles looked like there was a bike show in each of their car parks, packed.

Great day, reminded me why I do this shit. :D :D :D :D

Still a bit cold up here in Jockland to be out on the Norton, and a lot of salt still about too, and potholes, even written to the Local Council, a lot of good that will do, as our SNP councils are all skint, but at least I felt better....so be careful out there, no matter what your on.

ps It will be announced today what big bike Mikey Dunlop will be riding in this years TT, some rumours he will be joining McGuinness & Brookes on a Norton.....naw.... surely not?
