Can anyone tell me how many Standard Triumph Bonneville T140ES were made?
Is there a web site that has any information?

I can't answer that ,but I did own an 81 Electro and the last three digits of the serial number was 008. I liked it a lot,but the Bing Carbs felt sluggish in response compared to the Amal MkIIs on my 79 T140E. The starter worked great and never gave any problems.

I have a 1981 Triumph Bonneville T140ES also. It runs great but the color is blue with dark purple shading the back of the gas tank and covering half the lower side covers. I also have the Bing carburetors. Looks like there might be a few out there. I was told they were very rare and not many were made. I listed it for sale on Craigslist, Denver, motorcycles from Fort Morgan. Take a look and let me know what you think?
