1974 850cc - I'm currently running NGK Iridium-ix BPR7EIX spark plugs. Can anyone make a recommendation on what wire set I should use with this type of plug or does it not matter? Advise is appreciate. Thanks!

What is your ignition? Original AAU, Boyer, Pazon, Trispark?

Hi Pete. I have a Boyer ignition.

PS.. I saw your post about selling your bike. I'm brand new on this site and I can tell that you're a really good guy and always willing to help the new guys. Thanks for helping me! Tony :D

Thanks Cburg, but that was an April fools joke and I am not going any where.

I might think that the BPR7EIX is a little over kill but should work alright. Carbon core wire and NGK 5K ohm plug caps is what I use along with the BPR7ES. I think this is for any EI unit. Also, you can co up or down in temperature with plugs if needed.

Thank again for the kind words.

You should use copper wire and non resistor caps, the Iridium have all the resistance the digital EI ignitions need.

yes that's right, I think. Seems like either the plug, the Cap, or wire in a resistor capacity will do the trick and stacking them won't do you any favors.
